Pacific Camps have been serving the child care needs of Ventura County (Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura ) families since 1988 and now will be located in Newbury Park. Pacific Camp Update!!

Pacific Camps began at Christ the King on December 26th under the supervision of our Properties and Outreach boards. It is currently using our sanctuary and parking lot to provide after school care for children from kindergarten to 8th grade. After being open a month they are already serving sixteen youth. This is far more than anticipated at this time and shows not only a great need in our community but God’s blessing of our new outreach.

We are truly excited about the new opportunities Pacific Camps provides our congregation to serve the community. It is our ardent hope that the ministry will continue to grow and can move to our upper lot. It would be a great blessing to put our typically vacant lot to use in the Lord’s service full time.

Pacific Camps will also be joining us in hosting our annual Easter Picnic – providing games, a rock climbing wall, carnival games, popcorn and cotton candy machines to name a few.
